Overintellectualized Christianity

    The "Pay it Forward" movie's simple idea put the Christ's message into correct perspective. One doesn't have to do good things because Christ died for his sins. One doesn't have to spread the Gospel because the Bible says so. No encouragement is needed to push a person to do what is right. It's the simple fact of whether a Christian believes what the New Testament proclaims or not.
    Let's say you're drowning in the whirlpool, but in the last minute someone saves you but drowns instead. How will you treat the memory of that moment and the person? Will your life be changed? Will you really believe that you are living at the expense of the life of another? Most probably the answer to all of the those three questions will be "Yes." And what if that person carried on a journal where you find out that he firmly believed in the goodness of people, in sacrifice and the idea that people always can change in the good way. Will you be moved by that?
    Great people affect us all the time. They influence us and form our thinking. They can encourage us to do something for a short period of time.  But none of them was like Jesus. He is very different from any philosopher or spiritual leader. He said that he believes people have to be utterly changed and the only way to do this is if he will die for us. That's because we are drowning in the whirlpool of sin and lust. Jesus doesn't want us to drown, he believes we are created for holiness and happiness. And if we accept that, the world will never be the same. You will be willing to tell it to every heart that longs for a better life. You will do good things for others because that's what your life saver believes in. And no overintellectualization is necessary.

    Мужество и решительность - вот главные черты характера, которые заставляют нас уважать человека, обладающего ими. Такой человек везде пробъется, всего достигнет. Он постоянен и надёжен. Это необходимые качества как в бизнесе, так и в семье. Любой парень может сказать что он "созрел" для женитьбы только тогда, когда его характер был проверен на стойкость. Ничто так не унижает мужчину в глазах женщины как его мягкотелость. Получается, девушка выходит замуж за мужество своего любимого. Она доверяет своему избраннику и потому решает провести всю свою жизнь с ним.

    Мужество определяется не диаметром бицепсов, а количеством принимаемых судьбоносных решений. Человек с ясной целью в своей жизни способен в критическую минуту сделать правильный выбор. Значит, до того как он решает основать семью, он должен определиться в том, чего хочет достичь. Ещё немалую долю мужества придают жизненные принципы. Это - базовые правила, которые запрещенно приступать. Также их можно назвать моральным кодексом. Если не доводить их до экстрима, то они могут послужить надёжным поручнем во время падения. В итоге, мужество, подкреплённое жизненными установками, поможет пройти самые сложные периоды, не потеряв к себе уважения.       

P.S. Последний год я замечаю странную тенденцию, которую не видел раньше - мною увлекаются многие парни и девушки. Именно увлекаются. Для некоторых я словно человек побывавший в потустароннем мире. Их занимают мои мысли и размышления по во всех сферах жизни, потому что они незаурядные, логичные, свежие. Им кажется будто человек с таким умом всегда успешен и счастлив. Однако, я знаю, что если они заглянут поглубже в моё расскрытое сердце, то увидят там неуверенность и трепет. Рано или поздно любой человек в близком общении со мной это заметит, но как мне хочется чтоб именно девушки это замечали как можно раньше.

   

 

Blessed Discontent

   

     There is something especially beautiful in people who leave everything in order to find the sense for their lives. They know that if they will continue to live in the system (i.e. choose a career path, start a family, be an active part of a community), they will miss something very important. So, they decide to seek for the truth no matter what. While the grey masses of people just satisfied with what they are given and live just like everybody else, these seekers stand out and always make a difference.

      Even though I have not yet done anything of importance, I see that the driving force of my life is discontent. 

      I hate this life if it's all about job, family, church and/or friends. It's totally boring and meaningless then. However, when I look around me I start to question "Why? What for?", it makes me want to search for the true values. Why am I going to church each Sunday? Why do I listen to the music I listen? Why do I study in college?
      I figured out that if I'm not crazy about Jesus, meaning, I'm not laying all myself at His feet, then I don't really know Him. In fact, I'm probably a hypocrite in the closet. I'm the person who was touched by the Holy Spirit, but don't really bother to know Him. This condition really frustrates me. I want to know who God is with no intercessors. This feeling lead me to start the Bible study for a short period of time until I was distracted. But I'm still eager to know Him.
      During my childhood I always heard the music inside me. I could only hum it. I never really believed that it could go anywhere further. But the more I hear the music of different genres, the more I feel like I can do better than many of the top music writers nowadays. Just a year or two ago I began to feel like I'm getting some deep lyrics that born inside my heart. I would like to write music with the lyrics being written in English, French, Italian, Hebrew, Russian. Blend the traditional music of many different cultures and mix the genres. So, I started to take piano classes, hoping that it will lead me somewhere.
      My last area of discontent is science. I admire people who are working hard to understand math, physics, and chemistry. It enlightens and gives tools to understand the world. Meanwhile, mostly what you need in music writing is passion and creativity, science requires hard work. It is almost guaranteed that any person with P.E., M.D. or Ph.D. written by their names is a committed, organized, and trustworthy individual. I want to be one of them. Even if I will not work a lot in the scientific industry, I know that science will make me richer and the learning process in college will force me to become orderly. That's why I'm majoring in engineering.
      At this life stage I don't know yet how far my aspiring and discontent will lead me. I hope to achieve something in my life. I hope that if somebody will write a book or make a movie about my life after I will die, it will inspire others to look for their areas of dissatisfaction and deal with them.

Land on the Horizon

   
      Being honest, staying true to yourself is of the highest importance. When the entire world around you goes against you, when life tries to dictate its rules to you, when the friends get upset because of your stubbornness to follow your dream, it should not matter at all. Keep doing a hard work by walking on the path you've chosen. It can't be that after a long period of hard work you will not reap good results. The success is near, it must be close. Do what makes you happy, what drives your soul to a higher place, what brings sense to your life. Tame your fate to serve you. Whether the world will command you how to spend your days or you will create your destiny through perseverance and honesty.
      God will guide a person who doesn't give up by staying the individual of integrity who reaches to the higher standards. No matter where you are right now, no matter what your problems are, you can solve all of them! Don't give up... because if you do, you will lose everything. Continue to run. God will give you the new beginning, He will give you the energy and you will prosper more than you ever did.
      Problems and struggles make you grow, they prepare you for the future. You must learn the lessons each day gives you. Don't spend time in leisure, always learn. Knowledge by itself is nothing if you don't know how to utilize it. So, if you follow your heart, all the acquired wisdom must serve you in the process of realization of your vision. Believe in yourself! You have it in you to do it. Your potential is limitless as long as you are concentrated. God will guide an honest soul which strives to bring it's dreams to life. Afterall, He gave you this dream.
