Life Purpose

First and foremost, Acts 17:27 "God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us." This passage I've put into the foundation of my exploration of life purpose long ago. But now it's not enough for me, it is too general.

I've read several christian philosophers and theologians. They had some very interesting ideas, but basically their answers were that the question is too personal and each individual has to find it only by himself/herself.

Finally, I've stuck to two ideas: one is from the Bible, another is my thought. (Eccl. 5:18-19) "It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life. And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God."

My thought is that your personal life purpose is something what nobody will do except for you. Something what you have enough passion and talent to do. And it has to make people around you feel better or lead them in the right direction.
